Celebrity Xcel
Kusadasi shore excursions.

Celebrity Xcel guests can use a private Kusadasi departure to compare Ephesus routes without joining a large coach movement. The request begins with the actual sailing date, arrival and all aboard.

Celebrity Xcel passengers at Kusadasi Cruise Port planning Ephesus — Kusadasi Cruise Port is the starting point for independent Ephesus shore-excursion requests.

Plan for this ship, not an anonymous port day

A major modern ship can produce a busy disembarkation period. Clear contact and an agreed terminal exit help the party move from ship to vehicle without sacrificing archaeological visit time.

Choose a route that protects Ephesus

Choose Ephesus and Terrace Houses for a detailed ancient-city day, or Ephesus and Virgin Mary for two distinct sites. Sirince should remain optional until road and visit time are checked.

Work backwards from all aboard

Do not copy times from another Celebrity sailing. Submit the current Celebrity Xcel documents so terminal, route and estimated return can be reviewed together.

Use a written Kusadasi port meeting point

The final message states where to meet after customs, when the vehicle is expected and how to reach local operations if disembarkation changes.

Match the tour to your hours ashore

What fits a Celebrity Xcel call in Kusadasi

Planning allows 60 minutes to clear the terminal and 90 minutes back at the ship before all aboard. Measure your own call from the arrival and all-aboard times printed in the daily programme — with a 6-hour day ashore there is already a workable Kusadasi route.

A call shorter than a tour needs is not an automatic no. Send the request with your real times and the local team either shortens the route, moves you to a private vehicle that saves loading time, or tells you it will not work before anything is confirmed.

Celebrity Xcel planning questions

Before you leave the ship

Can Celebrity Xcel passengers request a no-shopping route?+

Yes. Add that preference to the request and make sure the written itinerary lists only the agreed stops.

Can we include the Terrace Houses?+

Often yes when the ship window and walking ability fit. They add a separate ticket, stairs and visit time.

Is online payment required?+

No. The website collects a request without card details; availability and the current service price are confirmed in writing.
